Thing #18

I tried to use Hairmixer, but was too difficult to manipulate the picture I uploaded. I explored google maps, which to tell the truth, I use all the time. I did discover thought that you could put in someone's address and see a street view of their house. Very neat!!!

Thing #17

I created a very short google doc just to see what it was like. I think this tool would be really useful if I used different computers and needed to find my docs in one place.

Thing #16

I added my blog to the favorite blogs on the learn and play sandbox. I needed help to do it. So far, I haven't really had to have help, but this one was frustrating!!
Wikis would be good for groups working on committees together or planning an event together.

You tube

Get ready for the cutest video ever!! Of course it has a doxie in it!!! I love You tube. It's been my favorite thing!

Thing #15

I actually used wikipedia to get the definition of web 2.0, but I haven't used it since. I've read that libraries are using it for subject wikis, book review wikis, and best practice wikis. However, CML's website is so complete I don't see a need for any of these types of wikis for us. It might be good for groups working on tactical plans though, since the wiki would be most useful for those collaborting on a task.
